What is Umbanda?

Umbanda is a Brazilian religion blending African, Indigenous and spiritist traditions. It honours the Orishas and works with entities such as Pretos Velhos, Caboclos and Crianças, always with charity and respect.

Do I need to belong to a religion to visit?

No. Sessions are open to all, regardless of faith. We only ask for respect for the sacred space.

What should I wear?

Light clothing, preferably white, comfortable and modest. Avoid low necklines and short clothes.

Is there a charge for consultations?

No. Spiritual care is free. The house is sustained by voluntary donations.

What time should I arrive?

The session starts at 7pm; please arrive at 6:45pm to settle in calmly.

Can I bring children?

Yes, accompanied. Please talk to us beforehand so we can advise.

How do I become a member?

Start by attending the sessions and speak with the leadership.
