The house
Our story
Tenda Umbanda com Esperança was born from the wish to keep Umbanda alive within the Brazilian diaspora in Bournemouth, United Kingdom, welcoming Brazilians and British people seeking faith, care and community.
The house is led by Pai de Santo Pai Herik, its spiritual leader, with Mãe Pequena Wilza supporting the mediums and the running of the house.
Open sessions take place on Fridays, starting at 7pm with arrival recommended at 6:45pm. Care is free and the house is sustained by voluntary donations.
